Morrill Family

What’s more fun than winning a giveaway? With the new year, I began a new start for my business. So with that in mind I decided to host a giveaway!  I created a new logo, re-designed my website, and I decided to narrow my photography to specializing in wedding and family photography.  (Although I still love and will book the occasional other shoots!)  It was so fun for me to watch the entries come in from such a varied group of people.  It’s heartwarming to me to know that people like my work enough to enter my giveaway.

The winners of my giveaway were Cory, Bobbi, and little Hutch Morrill.  They were so happy to win the shoot and didn’t mind traveling from Panguitch for the big day.  One of the fun aspects of being a family photographer is learning about the family members, then matching the location with their desires and their personalities.  This was especially fun as we chose the lava rocks for our backdrop.  It’s remarkable to me how stunning this location is when the crisp, golden sun is just beginning to set.  Truly, it was the perfect choice for the Morrill Family.

As much fun as it was, snapping shots of the family of three, I’ve got to tell you, capturing Hutch’s love of baseball near the end was a bright point of the evening!  Take a look and you’ll see his obvious infatuation with all-things-baseball!

It was so fun to frolic with Cory, Bobbi and Hutch.  I found myself eagerly anticipating getting home to see their photos full-screen.  Gorgeous family, gorgeous photos!
