Nathaniel & Ashley

I first met Nathan and Ashley the day I shot their bridals. They were a referral from a friend of mine from college, and it was so fun and exciting to meet them on the very day of the shoot. They are both from Bountiful, UT so I was excited to be able to travel for this shoot. What an adorable couple!

We began the photo session at the Mt. Timpanogos Temple in Utah. Nathan met up with me and my assistant and we grabbed some solo shots of him before Ashley showed up. Both of them, full of love and excitement, made for great photos. (Don’t you just LOVE Nathan’s flowered tie?!?) Ashley was so excited to show him her dress and I was so excited to capture this moment for them. I have to admit to a little concern when it looked like the day would be completely cloud covered… but the worry was senseless. Between the bits of sunshine peeking through clouds and the bright smiles lighting up their faces, the shoot was well lit and so stunning.

After the temple photos we zipped on over across the street to a beautiful, natural setting.  With spring just beginning, the location was perfect. I love the symbolic combo of the beginning of spring and a young couple in their own beginning.

Look for another blog post coming soon. The two were married on April 15th and I had such a great time shooting that as well. Nathan and Ashley had some of these photos printed up for the reception and they were just beautiful sitting there on display. I love when I get cute clients…it is literally the BEST!
