I always love getting a call about a photo shoot when the subject is a newborn.  They’re just so soft and cuddly and …. Perfect.  I’ve got my own stock of cute baby clothes and accessories and have had lots of opportunities to use my baby-girl bows and pretty things; but my stack of boy outfits hasn’t even been touched.  So when Kristin called me, after being referred by another client of mine, telling me she was expecting a baby boy… I pulled out my props and prepared for the shoot. I was so excited to have my first shoot with a baby boy!

Little Emmett cooperated beautifully … once he fell asleep. His poofy baby lips made me oooh and ahhh with every pose.  And no wonder he’s so darling – he has three older brothers who show him what darling is all about!  Being number four, it was fun to see how the others already look out for him.  I captured their protective and loving care of their baby brother when we called the boys in for a few shots.
