McDonald Family

This shoot was one of my favorites because they were a family of 14!  For beautiful scenery to complement this beautiful family, I suggested we head to Snow Canyon.  I just can’t imagine a more perfect group of people in this backdrop than the McDonalds!  They were so easy to work with and so fun to be around.

For example: They have TWINS! Shooting with twins really is twice the fun… And I also had a great time with one of their daughters that was preparing to leave for her LDS mission by getting some pre-mission photos for her after we were done with family shots.  

I’ve got to mention how fun it was for the clan’s dad to participate – especially in the couple shots with his wife.  He was a good sport (as were all the guys).

With a family this size, there were plenty of pictures to take.  I got some great shots of the girls all together, couple pictures, and kid photos. There were just so many sweet moments and I was happy that I was able to capture them.

As always seems to be the case, the best part for me is not catching the beauties of nature combined with their well-put-together-selves, but it was actually capturing the absolute true love that abounds in their family. Love between husband and wife, love between parents and children, and love among the siblings.  It is such a remarkable gift to see that love first-hand, and then to grab it in their faces through photos.

All in all … so much fun!
