I love Thursday’s… especially today because I’m so excited to throwback and tell you about a favorite shoot of mine last August. It was a bridal session that took me to Las Vegas with the very beautiful Carly and her then fiancé Jacob. No surprise that the sun was shining brightly that day. With their marriage taking place in the Las Vegas Temple a few weeks later, we began our shoot that evening with the sun peeking through the trees and casting beautiful light on them for some shots in front of the temple and around the grounds. Sun-illuminated flowers and greenery enhanced the photos so perfectly!!
And would you take a look at that dress?! How perfect is that with her gorgeous face? I love love love the lace and I could tell that it fits Carly’s personality perfectly. In fact, her beautiful face and lacy dress was featured (with my photo) on Latter Day Bride’s Instagram page. They liked Carly in it so much – especially the juxtaposition of her femininity with the rustic desert beauty of Wetlands Park – that they posted another of my photos on their Instagram page later on.
Speaking of Wetlands Park, that place is truly a hidden treasure. It is one of my favorite places to shoot! It is located on the east side of Las Vegas and it is the largest park in the Clark County, Nevada park system. The beauty there added nicely to these great looking bride and groom photos. It was especially nice to have Carly’s mother and sister-in-law there to keep the couple looking great during our hot summer photo shoot. It was so fantastic and I am so thrilled that she chose me to work with them!
